Frequently Asked Questions

So… who actually made this?

We did..

Who Made This?! was created inside the kitchen at A Taste of Avon in Stratford, Gippsland, Victoria.

What started as house-made garlic and basil oil for service, rosemary salt for lamb, and limoncello poured for guests… became something people kept asking to take home. So we bottled it.

Every product is developed from real restaurant use, not from a factory, not from a trend.

From a working kitchen.
From service.
From experience.

We make it ourselves. In small batches. With real ingredients. No shortcuts.

If you’ve eaten at the restaurant, this is the same flavour philosophy, just bottled for your home.

Is this connected to A Taste of Avon?

Yes.

Who Made This?! is the product line born from A Taste of Avon. These are the same oils, salts and limoncello developed and refined in the restaurant. Now made for your home kitchen.

If you’ve dined with us, you’ve already tasted it.

Now it lives on your bench.

What makes this different from supermarket oil & salts?

Most supermarket oils are produced in bulk and designed for shelf stability first.

Ours is made for flavour first.

We produce in small batches and balance it the way we would for a dish leaving the pass. It’s designed to elevate food with one drizzle, not disappear into it.

No rules. No overthinking. Just good ingredients that make simple food taste better.

You’ll taste the difference.

Why is it called “Who Made This?!"

Because that’s the reaction.

When something tastes unexpectedly good, someone always asks..

“Wait… who made this?!”

Now you know.

Where is it made?

All batches are made in Stratford, Victoria, Australia, in our small-batch kitchen at A Taste of Avon. Each batch is carefully monitored to ensure quality and consistency.
